Kate's Stunning Pink Gown from Belize is 'Glamorous' - But Comes with a £2,250 Price Tag

Kate Middleton, 41, wowed fans last year when she stepped out in a stunning pink ballgown during her royal visit to Belize.

As part of her 2022 Caribbean tour with Prince William, the Princess of Wales donned a striking pink lamé gown by The Vampire’s Wife. She wore the dress to a reception hosted by the Governor General in honor of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Now, fashion enthusiasts can purchase the gown, which has recently become available again. Known as "The Light Sleeper Ruffled Wool-blend Lamé Gown," the dress features a vibrant ruby pink color, short sleeves, a round neckline, and a shimmering lamé finish.

However, the version now available differs slightly from Kate’s original. The 41-year-old’s gown had a belted waistline, a detail missing from the current version up for sale.

After Kate’s appearance in the pink lamé gown, searches for ruffled dresses skyrocketed by 288 percent, according to the fashion marketplace Love The Sales. Additionally, searches for "The Vampire's Wife" increased by 34 percent, and "Pink Dresses" saw a 142 percent spike.

Fans will be thrilled to know the gown is now available for £2,250. The description reads: The Vampire's Wife's glamorous collections are adored by many, including the Princess of Wales, who wore this 'Light Sleeper' gown during the 2022 Caribbean tour. It’s crafted from 'Ruby' wool-blend lamé that shimmers in the light and features flutter sleeves.

For the event, Kate styled the gown with silver Jimmy Choo "Mimi 100 Sandals, described as a sleek, minimalist evening shoe with a twisted ankle strap. She also carried a locally made Elvia Bo Xe’il Mayan embroidery clutch as a tribute to Belize, featuring black Mayan embroidery and a glittering clasp from Belize’s first Maya Fashion Collection.

Her jewelry included striking £290 statement earrings by London-based South Asian designer O’nitaa, adorned with uncut crystal stones. Kate first wore the earrings in 2019 during her visit to Pakistan.

With her brunette hair styled straight and minimal makeup, Kate exuded a fresh, natural look during her Belize appearance.
