Miss Venezuela Diana Silva Shines in Strappy Sandal Heels at Miss Universe 2023

 

For her stage debut, Silva donned trendy silver strappy sandal heels with high-shine uppers and thick knotted straps across the toes. While her dress’s floor-length hem concealed most of the footwear, the sandals likely featured ankle straps secured with buckle closures. The 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels added a subtle lift, perfectly complementing her ensemble. Metallic footwear, a popular trend in 2023 championed by stars like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, added a modern touch to her look.

 

Silva’s metallic heels paired beautifully with her striking hot pink gown. The floor-sweeping dress showcased a sequined print and a low back with criss-crossing straps, exuding elegance and glamour. She completed the ensemble with statement gold dangling earrings and styled her dark hair in voluminous waves that framed her face.

 

 

For the swimwear portion of the competition, Silva chose a purple one-piece by Rubin Singer that she accessorized with strappy nude sandals by Jojo Bragais.

 

Silva is a model, environmental activist and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2022. She was previously crowned Miss Earth Venezuela 2018. Silva has partnered with various non-profit organizations, the most prominent being her ecological work that she has been carrying out since 2018 in the Caracas botanical garden. During the 72nd Miss Universe Competition National Costume Show held on Thursday, Silva was outfitted in a dragon-inspired look cast in glittering red hues.

 

 

Miss Universe is a pageant held annually by the Miss Universe Organization, which celebrates women’s accomplishments across the world. This year’s event will be held in El Salvador, featuring 86 contestants from international countries. The occasion includes John Legend as this year’s musical performance, which will take place before the current Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel crowns her successor.
