Exclusive Interview with Spanish Model Elba Prescoli
Hi Elba, can you tell us a little about yourself?
Hi! I’m a Spanish model with a global mindset. I grew up in Barcelona but started my career at a young age because I had a strong desire to explore the world.
Describe yourself in three words.
Energetic, unpredictable, and creative.
What has had the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My first beauty contest. It was a wake-up call for me—it opened my eyes to my true path. It wasn’t what I expected, but it taught me valuable lessons about my boundaries, what I would accept, and what I wouldn’t on my journey toward my goals.
How and when did you start modeling?
I started when I was about 16. I was walking through the center of Barcelona with my mom when a man approached her about taking photos of me for a "back to school" ad. I was so excited on set and acted like I had done it before! That first experience with the camera was unforgettable, and I knew I wanted to do it again and again.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Modeling boosts your confidence as you progress professionally. You get to discover yourself, enhance your strengths, and work on your weaknesses.
The most fun part? Meeting new people all the time. The energy on set, the music, and the creative environment make it an amazing experience.
Can you name a few magazines you’ve worked with?
Working for Nitro Magazine Greece was an incredible experience—it had a huge production and stunning styling. Also, being on the cover of Vigour and Moevir Paris was a dream come true.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
That failure isn’t the end of the world. Sometimes, it’s just not the right time or place, but the key is to stay strong and never give up.
What’s the most important thing when you're on a shoot?
Confidence and focus. I remember doing a lingerie shoot where the entire crew was male. I felt all eyes on me, and it took me a moment to process and push past my shyness.
What’s your advice for new models and influencers?
Instagram is a visual platform, and every post sends a message about your brand and value. In just one glance, people decide if they want to follow you.
Step into your strength with confidence—the world is waiting for what you have to share. Be visible, be bold, and shine.
What mindset helped you become so successful?
Having a strong presence and clearly conveying my values helped me connect with people. It’s incredible when you build a loyal, supportive community that lifts you up—even on your hardest days.
When you started social media, did you expect this level of success?
Not at all! I was just starting my modeling career, and my focus was always on real-life experiences rather than social media.
I was traveling, attending fashion shows, and sharing my adventures. I think my followers enjoyed discovering new places and moments alongside me, so they naturally became part of my journey.
As a model and influencer, how do you handle the pressure to always set the right example?
Honestly, I don’t think I’m the best role model out there—haha!
I’ve always liked doing things my own way. On social media, I stay neutral on controversial topics to avoid unnecessary pressure. I want to feel free in my thoughts, so I don’t share everything too deeply.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman.
It’s about confidence, emotional control, self-motivation, and understanding others. It teaches relationship management and how to be influential. To me, this book is a guide to life itself.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
"Always know your worth." Knowing your value means respecting yourself, embracing your strengths, and taking care of your inner self.
What’s still on your bucket list?
Something related to cinema! I’ve always loved acting, and I’d love to see myself on the big screen someday.
What’s next for Elba Prescoli?
Expect the unexpected! My life is like a movie without an ending—haha!
If your life were a book, what would its title be?
Lost and Found—because no matter how many times I get lost, I always find my way.
