Peru Moda Deco 2025 Consolidates with US$93 Million in Commercial Opportunities
PromPerú Closes the Year with Record Results in Promoting Peruvian Fashion in Key International Markets
The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PromPerú) successfully concluded the Perú Moda Deco 2025 international circuit, a coordinated effort that brought Peruvian industrial capacity, know-how, creativity, and talent to the world's main and most demanding global markets.
Through its commercial missions in North America, Brazil, Chile, and Milan, over US$93 million in business opportunities were generated, reaffirming Peru as a reliable partner within the global fashion and decoration sector supply chain.
The year's closing event was the Perú Moda Deco Milan Commercial Mission, held from September 22 to 24 during Fashion Week. In this edition, Peruvian companies not only showcased their collections but also explored new ways to connect with European buyers, achieving US$7.9 million in commercial opportunities.
Twenty companies from the alpaca, brands, and decoration sectors participated, holding 166 business meetings with buyers from Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Russia, Denmark, and Belgium. One of the most valued innovations was the participation in the Guffanti Showroom, where companies received mentorship from Alexandra Guffanti and presented their collections to the showroom's clients through both sourcing and private label formats.
Previously, participants underwent a curation process led by Italian designer Tiziano Guardini, who guided them in adapting their proposals to European market trends. The experience confirmed the evolution of the Peruvian offering, recognized for the quality of alpaca fiber, innovation in finishes, and purpose-driven design—attributes that reflect an industry progressing without losing its identity.

Before its closing in Europe, Perú Moda Deco 2025 deployed a commercial route in the Americas that demonstrated the sector's capacity to adapt and conquer new spaces.
In North America, the May edition achieved US$37.4 million in business opportunities, bringing together 49 Peruvian companies with over 190 international buyers. Brands such as Brooks Brothers, Victoria’s Secret, and Revolve showed interest in Peruvian cotton, children's fashion, and alpaca and decoration products, consolidating the country as a reliable and versatile supplier in the sustainable fashion chain.
In Brazil, Perú Moda LATAM 2025 marked a point of regional expansion by recording US$21.3 million in sales and commercial prospects. Some 29 exporting companies participated in 270 business meetings with buyers from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. Attending brands included Animale, Ricardo Almeida, Reserva, Brooksfield, AMC (Richards, Forum, Colcci), and Oriba, which were interested in natural materials, responsible design, and value-added production.
Finally, in Chile, the commercial mission held in September in Santiago reached US$27.2 million in commercial commitments, including US$1 million in immediate sales. The 40 participating Peruvian companies held 438 business appointments with accredited buyers.
A special component was the "seedbed" from Gamarra and Chincha, comprising 10 new companies that had their first international experience, reflecting the boost PromPerú provides to MSMEs and the sector's emerging talent.
With these results, Perú Moda Deco 2025 reaffirmed the country's creative and entrepreneurial potential. Through an approach that combines innovation, sustainability, and identity, PromPerú, an agency under the Mincetur (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism), continues to drive the internationalization of Peruvian brands and position Peru as a benchmark in the fashion and decoration industry in the region.
According to information from PromPerú, between January and July 2025, exports from the prioritized lines of the Apparel and Decoration Industry—which include cotton clothing, as well as alpaca products, footwear, accessories, and jewelry—reached US$795.9 million, representing a 6% growth compared to the same period in 2024.
The main destination continues to be the United States, with a 57.6% share, followed by China (6.6%), Brazil (5.7%), Canada (3.6%), and Italy (3.1%). In 2024, exports from this sector closed at US$1.36 billion, consolidating Peru as a competitive and diversified supplier.
