Ronchi de Cuba’s 30 Years of Style at the Hilton Aruba
Celebrating three decades of island creativity, local fashion designer Ronchi de Cuba staged a spectacular "Back To Life" fashion show at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. Held in the iconic Morris Lapidus ballroom, the milestone event sold out with over 700 spectators in attendance. The retrospective drew from more than 150 past productions, featuring approximately 100 models across two dazzling hours of runway and theatrical presentations.
The show highlighted three distinct collections—Solo by Ronchi, So Very Me, and a tribal female empowerment line—totalling 400 looks including décor, hair, makeup, and music. "I grew up among powerful women, so that reflected in the show," Ronchi said. Congratulations to the team: Julio, Andrew, Gareth, Bruce, Jairo, Nicole, and Sharine for orchestrating a fabulous evening.
Ronchi works under both the Ronchi de Cuba label and the Solo by Ronchi label. Both brands are available at TRASH, his fashion boutique located at Sibeliusstraat 8 in Oranjestad, which also offers on-trend, affordable fashions and a notable selection of plus sizes.
