Peruvian model Pierinna Patino Flores has been crowned Top Model of the World 2020 at a dazzling ceremony held on Friday, March 5, at the Meraki Resort in Hurghada, Egypt.

The 22-year-old model and advertising graduate, hailing from Callao, emerged victorious among over 30 international contestants to claim the prestigious title. Mexico's Priscila Moreno Valverde and Colombia's Gisele Archbold Davis secured the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively, while Romania's Andreea Bianca Mateescu and Zambia's Precious Ngóma rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

Patino Flores succeeds outgoing titleholder Nicole Menayo of Spain. Her win also marks a significant milestone for Peru, as it is the second time a Peruvian delegate has captured the crown, following Janet Leyva Rodriguez's triumph in 2018. The victory reinforces Peru's growing prominence on the international pageant circuit and celebrates the country's rich pool of modeling talent.
